Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Carl Morris, Mrs. Bill Childs and Kathy Ellen Brown; one son, Billy Doyle Brown; his mother, Mrs. Ellen Gatliff; two sisters, Mrs. Berry Pierce and Mrs. Freddie L. Thatcher; four brothers, Alvin, J. B., Herbert and Bobby Brown; and six grandchildren.
