Hiram Fisher died at his home at Cold Springs at 8:30 Wednesday morning after an illness from cancer of the stomach. He had been in a serious condition for the past two weeks and had been confined to his bed for that time. Deceased was 75 years of age and was well known in this community.

The funeral services will be held from the M. E. church at Edon this afternoon at 1:30 and interment is to be made in the Edon cemetery.

Mr. Fisher leaves nine children, all of whom have grown to manhood and womanhood. He also leaves a twin brother, Myron, residing at Metz, one sister residing at Spring Lake, Mich., and one at Flint, Ind. His wife died several years ago.
