Myron Fisher, son of Edward and Mary Taylor Fisher, was born at Alvarado, Ind., June 6, 1851, and departed this life at his home in Angola, November 14, 1928. He was of a family of nine children, seven sons and two daughters, he being the last of the seven sons to pass out. He was married to Minnie Hall 1877. They have shared life's joys and sorrows together for over 50 years. Their entire life has been spent in Indiana with the exception of a few years in Michigan. He was a kind and loving husband, affectionate brother, always ready to lend a helping hand in time of need. He was a member of the lodge of Odd Fellows at Munica, Michigan, Lodge No. 454.

He leaves to mourn his loss his loving wife, Minnie, two sisters, Mrs. Emily Porter, of Spring Lake, Mich., Mrs. Etta Scheck, of Flint, Indiana, one brother-in-law, nineteen nieces, and nephews to mourn; our loss is his gain, all is well.

We miss his smiles and his words of cheer.
But his deeds of kindness are memories dear.
That will sweeten our lives and guide our feet through the shadow to that retreat.
Where troubles cease and the balm of the deep sweet peace and the soothing calm.
Prepare us to meet our friends once more on the other shore.

Funeral services were held Friday, November 16, at the Weicht Funeral home and interment at South Scott cemetery.
