She was born September 14, 1903 in Booths Creek, Harrison County, West Virginia, a daughter of the late John Marshall Wiseman & Lulu Estella "Stella" Rinehart-Wiseman.
Martha first married Charles Albert Matheny on July 10, 1926 in Homes County, Ohio. They had a son, George Robert Matheny.
Martha divorced Charles Albert when he became incarcerated.
Secondly, Martha married James "Jacob" Baab on Feb. 4, 1928 in Wayne County, Ohio. There were 8 Children born to this union: 6 sons: Charles W. Baab, James J. Baab, Harry L. Baab, John Baab, Glenn Harman Baab, Nicholas R. Baab, & 2 daughters: Gaynelle Marguerite Baab-Van Sicle, & Bonnie Baab-Gilmore. Her husband, James "Jacob" Baab passed away in 1950.
On Dec. 13, 1966, Martha married John Lewis Nease at the Oakland Free Methodist Church on Etruria Street in East Liverpool, Columbiana County, Ohio. They had no children together, however, she does have a stepson, Leroy Lee Nease that survives her.
She was laid to rest in Jackman Cemetery near Fredericktown, Ohio.
