He married Marion E. Pinkozie on Jan. 15, 1952 in Cuyahoga County, Ohio. They later divorced.
He was preceeded in death by his mother, Martha Rachel Wiseman-Matheny-Baab-Nease, his father, James "Jacob" Baab, Sr., a brother, John Henry Baab, a sister, Gaynelle Marguerite Baab-Vansicle & a half-brother, George Robert Matheny.
He is survived by 4 brothers, James J. Baab, Harry L. Baab, Glenn Harman Baab, Nicholas R. Baab and a sister, Bonnie Baab-Gilmore.
