Ellen Lucille Bowling Sears, 49, of Covington, Kentucky entered into rest Tuesday, September 8, 1981 at Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio from complications during open heart surgery. She was the daughter of the late David Bowling and Pearl Bowling of Latonia, Ky.

She was preceded in death by her father and one son, Melvin Harold Rivera Jr. Ellen is survived at the time of her passing by her mother; two sisters, Betty (Gene) Marksberry of Covington and Maggie Patton of Dalton, Georgia; two brothers, David (Joyce) Bowling of Latonia & Roy (Shirley) Bowling of Latonia; three sons, Daniel (Nina) Bowling Sr. of Covington, and Ray & David at home; three daughters, Janie (Chuck) Wills of Sellersburg, Indiana, Melinda (Billy) Wallace of Erlanger, and Tabitha at home; grandchildren, Crystal & Daniel Bowling of Covington, Charles & Steven Wills of Sellersburg, Indiana, and James, Amanda, & Brandon Wallace of Erlanger.
