Visitation for Jacqueline Hoppe (nee Stubbs) of Oakwood Hills, formerly of Palatine, will be held Sunday, Feb. 5, from 3 p.m. until the time of the prayer service at 8 p.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine, Ill. Interment will be private. Born May 2, 1952, in Lake Zurich, she passed away peacefully Feb. 1, 2012, at Northwest Community Hospital, Arlington Heights, surrounded by her family.

Jacqueline was past president of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Arlington Heights Elks Lodge #2048. She liked movies and reading books. She participated and donated her time and money for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. Most of all, she loved her grandchildren and really enjoyed the holidays.

Survivors include her husband, Bruce A. Hoppe; children, Scott Stubbs, Andrew Jarding, Michelle (Dave) Pykett and Cheryl (Nick) Forrestal; grandchildren, Elise Swanson, Morgan Schwindeman, Brandon Dingles, Danny and Destiny Pykett and Michael, Kellie and Nicholas Forestal; great-grandchild, Olivia Swanson; brother, Anthony (Denise Moree) Mastroianni; and sisters, Bernadette Harvey and Paulette Koch.

Jacqueline was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary (nee Mure) Stubbs; and her brother, Allan Mastroianni.
