Ethel Ruff, 94, of St. Joe, passed away Thursday, April 28, 2005, at North Arkansas Medical Center in Harrison, Arkansas. She was born March 27, 1911 to W. E. and Gertie Woodward Hendrix. She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening and quilting.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dan; two brothers; and two sisters.

Survivors include a son, Danny Ruff of Mt. Judea; daughters, Rita Ruff of Marshall and Arbie Oliver of St. Joe; brothers, Troy Hendrix of Witts Springs, Delford Hendrix of Witts Springs, Pete Hendrix of Harrison, and Earl Hendrix of St. Joe; sisters, Hazel Hendrix of Witts Springs and Maudie Kiplinger of Valley Springs; 5 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 1 at Witts Springs Cemetery with Glenn Griffin officiating.

Pallbearers are Eddie Hendrix, Harvey Hendrix, Jeff Magness, Brian Willcutt, Harold Hendrix, and Gary Dean.

Honorary pallbearers are Earl Magness, Ethan Oliver, Tom Wyatt, and Kenny Hendrix.

Visitation is Saturday 6-8 p.m. at Roller-Coffman Funeral Home in Marshall.
