John Milton Upp and Talitha Pedrick were married September 17, 1835, in Highland Co., Ohio by Henry Turner ("Marriage Records of Highland Co., Ohio" by David N. McBride, published by the Southern Ohio Genealogical Society, Highland Co., Ohio.

John Milton Upp and his wife had a son, Charles W. Upp that died at Kenesaw Mountain during the Civil War.

His widow and children; George, William, Sarah, Otho Ellsworth, and Maria L. moved to the west.
Talitha Pedrick Upp married William Winn 7/3/1865 in Knox Co., Illinois. She was the 4th wife of William Winn.

The undersigned petitioner requests that William Winn, late of said County, departed this
life at Gilson in said County on or about the 23rd day of December A.D. 1898, leaving his
Will and Testament, duly signed, published and attested, as agreed by your petitioner

goes on to say his heirs are Talintha Winn, his widow, residing at Gilson, Illinois
and then all his children are named.
