Age 84 of Monroe, died Friday, at the Monroe Manor. Glenn was born on in Wiota Township, Lafayette County, the son of Benjamin and Carrie (Hendrickson) Knouse. He attended schools in both Lafayette and Green County. Glenn married at the Orangeville United Methodist Church. They farmed in Green and Stephenson County until moving to Monroe in 1978. Glenn was employed by the Green County Highway Department until retiring in 1993. Following his retirement, Glenn enjoyed mowing lawns and tilling gardens for many Monroe residents. He was a member of the Orangeville United Methodist Church, Orangeville Odd Fellows Lodge, AMPI, and enjoyed bicycling and dancing. He was preceded in death by his parents; a granddaughter, Christina Folgate; four brothers, Franklyn, Benjamin, Burdette, and Robert; and six sisters, Carol, Mae, Inez, Jane, Nina and Bernice.
