Barry R. Mann, 71, of Kylertown died Monday, Jan. 6, 2014 at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born March 8, 1942 in Bellefonte, he was the son of the late Raymond and Betty Saylor Mann.

Mr. Mann was a graduate of the Bald Eagle Area High School. He worked in construction and served as a supervisor.

He was married to Betty J. Smolko Mann on Dec. 13, 1965 in Elkton, MD. She survives in Kylertown.

Mr. Mann is survived by three daughters, Dana Croyle of Kylertown; Nicole Herncane and her husband, Shawn of State College; and Amanda Moore and her husband, Shawn of Drifting and one son, John Mann of West Virginia.

He is also survived by his grandchildren, Brittany Pifer; Amber Mann; Melissa, Jackson and Marley Croyle; Darian, Olive and Max Herncane; Emily, Elizabeth and Kyle Moore; one great-granddaughter, Cameron Pifer; and one brother, Dallas Mann of Lock Haven.

In addition to his parents, he's preceded in death by a daughter, Melissa; a granddaughter, Carrington; a sister, Marcia Houser; and a brother, Jerry Mann.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at the St. Severin Roman Catholic Church, Drifting, with the Father David A. Perry Jr. as celebrant. Burial will be in the Askey Cemetery, Moshannon.

Friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Thursday at the Johnson Funeral Home, Grassflat.
