Died 5:05 p.m. Friday, March 16, 1990, at the Medical Center of Baton Rouge. He was 79, a native of Oklahoma and a resident of Baton Rouge. He was a retired Copolymer Chemical Company employee. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., 3 to 10 p.m. Sunday, and 9 a.m. until time of religious services at 11 a.m. Monday, conducted by the Rev. Bud Goings. Burial in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Survived by wife, Gloria S. Kirkland, Baton Rouge; two daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and Frank Foti, Livonia, and Chiquita and John Wallace, Baton Rouge; two sons and daughters-in-law, Craig and Anne Kirkland, Hot Springs, Ark., and John and Belinda Kirkland, Gonzales; a sister, Opal Adair, Jacksonville, Fla.; and seven grandchildren, Karen, Angela, Wayne, Kirk, Tonya, Greg and Elizabeth.
