Guy J. Mayer, 63, of Midwest, died Monday night at Natrona County Memorial hospital in Casper.
Funeral services will be held today (Thursday) at 10 a.m. from Bustard's Funeral home in Casper. Burial will be in the afternoon at 2 p.m., at the Kearney cemetery.
Mr. Mayer was born June 12, 1902 at Kearney and had lived in this area most of his life, with the exception of three years spent in the east. He was married in 1932 to Veral Pearl Curtis.
He had been employed as a pumper by Pan American Petroleum Co. in Midwest since 1942, and had retired Jan. 1 of this year due to ill health.
Mr. Mayer was a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge and the Methodist church.
He is survived by his wife, Vera of Midwest; one daughter, Mrs. Jack Malsom of Riverton; one son, Jim of Midwest; one sister, Mrs. Manuel Silva of Buffalo and four grandsons.
He was preceded in death last year by a daughter Guyla.
