Jessie C. Mayer, wife of John Mayer, passed away Wednesday morning at her home south of Buffalo
She was born in Joplin, Missouri, January 27, 1880, moved to Wyoming with her family in April 1888. She married John Mayer February 1, 1898. She is survived by her husband, her son, Guy Mayer, her daughter, Mrs. Manuel Silva, and two grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Hester Sturgis of Miami Florida; two brothers, George H. Pool of Sheridan, and William B. Pool, of Redlands, Calif.
Funeral services will be held at one o'lock at the Methodist church in Buffalo on Saturday, February 4. Requested - no flowers.
The body will lie in state at the Hinterberg Funeral Home Friday and Saturday morning where friends may pay atheir respects.
