Mrs. Anna Elizabeth Doherty, age 79, passed away February 7th at the home of her son, Charles Doherty of 726 Troup Avenue in Kansas City, Kansas. She was the widow of the late Hugh Doherty and had been a resident of Kansas City, Kansas, the past 76 years and had lived a number of years at 806 Shawnee Avenue.

She was survived by six other sons, James Doherty of 1975 Garfield in Kansas City, Kansas, Hugh Doherty of 3720 Flora Avenue in Kansas City, Missouri, John Doherty of 3418 Coleman Road in Kansas City, Missouri, Thomas Doherty of Marcoba, Venezuela, South America, Joe Doherty of Los Angeles, Francis Doherty of 1216 Osage Avenue; and 27 grandchildren.

Mrs. Doherty was in state at the home of her son, Charles Doherty, 726 Troup Avenue. Funeral services were on Monday morning at St. Thomas Catholic Church. Burial followed in Mount Calvary Cemetery in Kansas City, Kansas. Daniels Bros., Funeral Directors.
