Grace V. Biddle

Hanover - Grace V. (Zumbrum) Biddle, 86, passed peacefully on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at Hanover Hall. She was the loving wife of Clair R. "Bud" Biddle who died July 3, 2011.
Born December 22, 1930 in Hanover, she was a daughter of the late Ammon and Katie (Renoll) Zumbrum.
Grace was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Hanover. She was also a past active member of the Hanover American Legion Post #14 ladies auxiliary and the Littlestown VFW ladies auxiliary.
She is survived by her brother, Harold Zumbrum of Fairfield; her brother in law, Edgar Meckley of Hanover; sister in law, Shirley Zumbrum of Spring Grove; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Grace was preceded in death by three sisters, Lottie Kneller, Treva Eline, and McCree Meckley; and her brother, Glenn Zumbrum.
A service to celebrate the life of Grace Biddle will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at the Wetzel Funeral Home and Crematory, 549 Carlisle St., Hanover, PA 17331 with Rev. Kathryn A. Schroeder officiating. A time to share memories with the family and an opportunity to view will be on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Hanover.
