Treva R. Eline

SPRING GROVE - Treva R. (Zumbrum) Eline, 69, of Spring Grove RD 5, died at 6:40 p.m. Sunday at Hanover Hospital. She was the wife of Edwin H. Eline, to whom she was married for 49 years.
The service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Trinity Church of the Nazarene. Burial will be in Marburg Memorial Gardens in Hanover. Viewings will be 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Sauter-Irwin Funeral Home, 175 N. Main St., Spring Grove, and 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
Mrs. Eline was born June 25, 1928, in Manheim Township. She was the daughter of the late Ammon W. and Katie A. (Renoll) Zumbrum.
She was a member and missionary reading secretary of Trinity Church of the Nazarene, and a member of Hanover Chapter 2812 American Association of Retired Persons and the Pace Setters Mall Walkers at North Hanover Mall.
Mrs. Eline also is survived by four sons, Gary L. Eline, Arnold B. Eline and Galen W. Eline, all of Hanover, and Roger L. Eline of Spring Grove; two daughters, Carolyn L. Calhoun of Glen Rock and Gloria D. Golden of Hanover; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Glenn L. Zumbrum Sr. of Spring Grove and Harold Zumbrum of Fairfield; and two sisters, Grace V. Biddle and McCree R. Meckley, both of Hanover.
Officiating at the service will be her pastor, the Rev. Allen G. Ray.

Edwin H. Eline

Edwin H. Eline, 74, of Spring Grove, died at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 12, 2004, at his home. He was the husband of Mary Jane (Bankert) Howe Eline, the late Treva R. (Zumbrum) Eline and the late Sadiye Dudin Eline.
Born Oct. 8, 1929, in North Codorus Township, he was a son of the late Howard J. and Sarah R. (Renoll) Eline.
He retired in 1991 with more than 23 years of service at Continental Wire & Cable in York. Prior to that he worked for 21 years at Hanover Shoe Factory. He also drove school buses in the Spring Grove Area School District from 1968 to 1973.
He was a member of Trinity Church of the Nazarene in Hanover.
Mr. Eline also leaves four sons, Gary L. Eline, Arnold B. Eline and Galen W. Eline, all of Hanover, and Roger L. Eline of Spring Grove; two daughters, Carolyn L. Calhoun of Glen Rock and Gloria D. Golden of Hanover; a step-son, Ben Howe of Hanover; two step-daughters, Faye Small of Hanover and Jane Casale of Lexington, Ky.; nine grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; and eight step-great-grandchildren; four sisters, Anna Dillon of Glen Rock, Grace Dubs of Porters Sideling, Alverta Rohrbaugh of Hanover and Betty Ankney of Spring Grove; and a brother, Norman Eline of Hanover.
His funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at Trinity Church of the Nazarene, 205 Fulton St., Hanover, with his pastor, the Rev. Gerald R. Dunlap, and the Rev. Gerald E. Shoap, pastor of Hanover First Church of God, officiating. Viewings will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Irwin Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 175 N. Main St., Spring Grove, and from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday at the church. Burial will be in Marburg Memorial Gardens in Hanover.
Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Church of the Nazarene, 205 Fulton St., Hanover, Pa. 17331 or to Hospice Preferred Choice, 2159 White St., Suite B115, York, Pa. 17404.
