Mary McGrath, 95, of Albia died of a heart ailment Sunday at Monroe Care Center.
Mrs. McGrath was born in Melrose and had lived there and in Urbandale before moving to Albia 22 years ago. She was a retired homemaker and had worked as a clerk at Broadlawns Medical Center and Northwest Hospital in Des Moines. She was an avid lowa Hawkeye fan and enloved playing cards.
She is survived by two sons, Art of Urbandale and Ed of Jollet, Mont: two, daughters, Maureen Miller of West Des Moines and Darleen Metier of Knoxville, Tenn.: 18 grandchlldren; 32 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur.
