Mrs. Helen Fawley Elkins, formerly of Gaithersburg, wife of the late James P. Elkins, Sr., died Monday, April 26, at Kensington Gardens Nursing Home.

She was born in Loudoun County, Va., Oct. 12,1895, a daughter of the late William B. and Annie Wright Fawley.

She was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church in Gaithersburg.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Pauline Carter, Darnestown; Miss Elizabeth Elkins, Baltimore; Mrs. Madeline Miller, Damascus; two sons, Milton Elkins, Magna, Ut., and James P. Elkins Jr.. Buckeystown; one brother, Samuel Eugene Fawley, Fla.; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at the Olin L. Molesworth Funeral Home, Damascus, from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, April 28, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 29. Interment will be in Darnestown Presbyterian Cemetery.
