Dan Lashley, 53, died Sunday at his home near Falmouth and funeral rites were held Tuesday at Mt. Gilead. Born in Hamilton County, Mr. Lashley had lived in Suwannee County for 40 years. He was a member of the Mt. Gilead Baptist Church. He is survived by his sister, Mrs. Winnie Smith, Winter Haven, two brothers, Sherman and Perry Lashley, both of Falmouth. Pallbearers at his funeral were Henry Shelfer, Woodrow Ellison, James Walker, Charlie Flowers, Paul Chauncey and Bill McManley.
