Peggy June Doyle entered her journey through life on June 26, 1938. She grew up on a large farm in Indianola, Oklahoma. She left his life to enter her life of eternity on December 14, 2013, in the heavenly kingdom.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, Emory and Olive Olivia (Denny) Doyle; brothers: Tom Wesley Doyle, James Monroe Doyle and daughter, Charlotte Ann; sisters: Pearl Katherine McLemore, Phyllis Lorene Doyle and nephew, Tom Richard Doyle.
Peggy taught school for many years, here in Carlsbad for the last 15 years of her career. She also taught in Sunrise, Wyoming and Grants, NM. Peggy gave her life to her Lord and Savior at an early age and even though it was a rocky road, she loved her Lord and served Him in any way that she could. She taught Sunday School for many years and led music until her health interfered and she had to give up teaching; however she continued leading music. She also drove the bus for the handicapped members.
Peggy is survived by sisters: Roxie Doyle of Loving, NM, Hester Payne of Roswell, NM; brothers: Leonard Doyle of McAlester, OK, A. C. Doyle of McAlester, OK; great-niece, Heather Medley and husband, Jared and their son, Ian Ray Westfall; great-niece, April Don Dominguez and husband, George with their four children; great-niece, Mary Lowery Mericle and husband, Kenny and their children; nephews: Tim McLemore and children, Cecle Doyle and wife, Sunny and children Nathan and Zackery Payne, Robin Payne and wife, Sabrina and children; nieces: Marquetta June Doyle, Jacqueline Morris, Donna Allford and husband, Keith, Cora Mae Middleton and husband, Jerry and children. She has many great-great-nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM, Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 AM, Thursday, December 19, 2013 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mark Devine officiating.
Interment will follow in Loving Cemetery, Loving, New Mexico.
