Paul W. Holt, 80, died Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2013. Arrangements will be announced by Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia.

U.S. Veteran
Paul William Holt, age 80, of Tuscumbia, died Tuesday, December 10, 2013. Visitation will be Thursday 6-8 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home of Tuscumbia. His funeral service will be Friday at 12 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Ted Vafeas and Frank Holt officiating. Burial will follow in Shoals Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Holt grew up in Cherokee and was a veteran of the Korean War. He was a Navy veteran, was retired from Browns Ferry and a member of Valley Grove Baptist Church. He was a Mason and a member of Washington Lodge #36. He was preceded in death by his son, Robbie.
Survivors include his wife Linda Holt of Tuscumbia; sons, Terry Holt (Amy) of Leighton, Keith Holt (Cindy) of Johnson City, TN; daughters, Rhonda Smith of Tuscumbia, Sabrina Richardson(Brad) of Rogersville, eleven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Pallbearers are grandsons; Jeremy Holt, Jonathan Holt, Dustin Holt, Ryan Holt, Thomas Smith Jr., Michael Smith, Joshua Smith, Ryan Lamar.
