Adnirum Judson Brown, aged 80, died at 1:55 this morning at his residence in Petrolia. He was born in Fairview township and spent the greater part of his life in that vicinity. An oil producer, he worked in the oil fields for the Pure Oil Company for 14 years, retiring 12 years ago. He leaves his widow, Mrs. Ardella Long Brown; four daughters, Mrs. Jennings Barr and Mrs. James Dietrich of Butler, Mrs. John Ray and Mrs. Earl Hilmen, both of Pittsburgh; three sons, Dale J., at home, Seymour W. of Butler, and William R., of Warren and six grandchildren. The body has been removed to the Thompson Funeral Home, East North street at McKean street, where the family will receive friends between the hours of 7 and 9 o'clock tonight; 2 and 5 o'clock Saturday afternoon and 7 and 9 o'clock Saturday night. Funeral services will be held from the Thompson Funeral Home at 1:30, Sunday afternoon with the Rev. H. H. Thompson of the Petrolia Methodist church, officiating. Burial will be in the Rose Hill cemetery.
