Patsey (Pooler) Smith passed away on November 29, 2013.

She was born in Brewer, Maine, and was raised in Dexter, Maine. She graduated from Fryeburg Academy Prep School, Fryeburg, Maine. Patsey also attended Webber College, Babson Park, Florida. Patsey's accomplishments were many. She began her career working for Montgomery Ward, eventually realizing her talent for marketing and more importantly, her passion for people. Never afraid of new challenges, Patsey took her talents and began a new career in the Hotel/Restaurant industry becoming Manager/Marketing Director for some of Oklahoma City's finest dining/catering. She also worked for various staffing companies as Marketing Manager/Corporate Trainer. During a brief retirement, Patsey, husband Ray, and son Scott moved back to her hometown, Dexter, Maine, to care for her Mom. While living there, she was able to reconnect with old friends and made many new ones. Never one to stay idle, Patsey became Director of Adult Education for Dexter Schools, Dexter, Maine. Patsey's proudest achievement was serving as a volunteer for Integris Baptist Hospital, Oklahoma City. She was voted by her peers as the Auxiliary President and made many new friends who shared her zest for life and compassion for people.

Patsey was preceded in death by her parents, Cyril and Margaret Pooler; and husband, Raymond L. Smith.

Patsey is survived by daughter, Bonnie Smith Montgomery, son in-law, Slagle, their daughters, Brooklyne, Brittaney, and Brianna, of Claremore, OK; son, Scott A Smith, daughter-in-law, Wendy, their daughter, Dani, son, Cooper, and daughter, Linda, of Oklahoma City, OK; and extended family members, Karrie and Bobby Burgess, their daughter, Brooke, and son, Blake, of Edmond, OK. Patsey's family and friends will greatly miss her.

She will be laid to rest at Memorial Park Cemetery, 13313 N. Kelley Avenue, Oklahoma City, OK 73131, (405) 755-1111.
