Leyendecker's death occurred last Thursday in a one vehicle accident near Colorado City. He was rushed to a hospital where his death was reported to have been caused by a heart ailment.
He was born near Harper, and his parents were the late Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Leyendecker. His mother died when he was three years of age, and he came to Kerrville to make his home with his sister, Mrs. W. A. Lorenz and Mr. Lorenz. Upon his return, he lived here for a short time, but had resided in San Antonio for 20 years, and was the owner of the Nu-Way Carpet Cleaning Company.
