Services for Mrs. Eva D. Leyendecker Coleman, 79, of Kerrville, who died Saturday at her residence, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Grimes Funeral Chapel with Doug McBride officiating. Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Born March 15, 1913 in Gillespie County, Mrs. Coleman was a longtime resident of Kerr County. She retired from the laundry department of Kerrville State Hospital. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and Woodmen of the World. She was preceded in death by her husband, B.J. "Jappie" Coleman in 1969; a sister, Minnie Klein; and three brothers, Arthur Leyendecker Jr., Hilmar Leyendecker and Henry Leyendecker.
Survivors include three sisters, Clara Lorenz, Alma Ruff and Louise Smith, all of Kerrville; and numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Clark Klein, Roland Michel, Roland Michel Jr., Reagan Michel, Bill ruff and Jay Cox.
Grimes Funeral Chapel in Kerrville is in charge of arrangements.
