Bessie Bella Jacobs, 88, of 54 Jacobs Branch Road, died Tuesday, Sept. 8, in Angel Community Hospital.
A native of Macon County, she was a daughter of the late John Leander and Allie Ray Baldwin and the wife of the late Gene L. Jacobs.
Surviving are three daughter, Kate Jacobs and Lois Meadows, both of Franklin, and Helen Byrd of Hendersonville; three sons, J.C. and Radford Jacobs, both of Franklin, and Carroll Jacobs of Sarasota, Fla,; a brother, Cecil L. Baldwin of Franklin; 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Friday in Iotla Baptist Church, of which she was a member. Rev. Jud Duvall and Rev. Bob Page officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were grandsons.
