DeLoris May Anderson, 69, of Ephrata, went to be with her Lord and Savior, on September, 10 2005. She went peacefully in her home after a long battle with cancer.

DeLoris was born on November 1, 1935, in Klamath Falls, Oregon, the third child of Jim and Thelma Cone. She came to know Christ at age 14 and was baptized at the Stewart Lenox Baptist Church. She attended Klamath High School and married Don K. Majors in 1952. In 1953 she moved with her family to her parents homestead in Quincy, helping to build her parents house. After various moves between California, Oregon and Washington she decided to make Ephrata her home. While living in the Columbia Basin, DeLoris worked at Morgan's Department Store, Full Circle and later, H&RBlock.

On November 26, 1976, she married her soul-mate Arthur Anderson, and had their fourth child.

DeLoris always was up for a new adventure, photography classes, wood working, sewing belly dancing, traveling and playing "the pennies" on the slot machines, making pine needle baskets, creating and furnishing miniature doll houses, along with countless other hobbies and crafts. At 50, she attended Big Bend Community College, earning an AA in Economics. DeLoris attended the Quincy Free Methodist Church, enjoyed attending Soap Lake Christian Women's Club Luncheons and Washington State Retired Public Employee #25 monthly meetings. She enjoyed and loved her family very much, and often traveled to be with them in all their special moments.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers; leaving behind her devoted husband, Arthur O. Anderson; daughter, Jonnie and husband Mike Goodwin of Quincy; daughter, Carey and husband Randy Requa of Gresham, OR; son, Don (Ken) Majors of Moses Lake; daughter, Melody and husband Robert Perdue of Kennewick; brother, Floyd Cone of Klamath Falls, OR; fourteen grandchildren, Michaelle (Goodwin) Harle, Yvonne (Goodwin) Navarro, Stephanie Goodwin, Shanutia (LeDuc) Jensen, Jeremiah LeDuc, Angelia Smith, Tina Lane, Kaitlyn Majors, Reyna Majors, Cayden and Aubrey Perdue, Jennifer McDow, Ryan and Rory Anderson; and seventeen great-grandchildren. We were all blessed by having her in our lives.
