He is survived by his loving wife whom he married on October 16, 1948, two sons and two daughters, eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Albert was predeceased by his parents F. August and Katherine (Mogk) Bauer, son John (1975), brothers Herman (Emma, Irene), Julius (Merle), Reinhardt (Mabel), Rudolph, Martin (Florence)and Emil (Jessie), sisters Clara Leasa (Henry) and Hulda Mogk (George), sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Ruth Cosstick (Stan), Bob Alles, Howard Kummer and Eleanor Alles.
Albert farmed in Logan Township until retiring in Mitchell in 1984. He was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Brodhagen.
