Kathy Lynn Hirlinger, 57, entered into rest Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at her home in Stillwater, Pennsylvania. Born in Lancaster, on August 13, 1956, she was the daughter of the late Glenn and Jacqueline (Carrigan) Hirlinger.

She was a member of ­Cornerstone Bible Church in Nescopeck and attended Town Hill United Methodist Church in Shickshinny, where she sang and played in the bell choir. She attended several missions trips to Source of Light Ministries International in Madison, Georgia, and volunteered with Child Evangelism Fellowship of Luzerne County. One of her favorite places was Patterson Grove Campground in Shickshinny, where she was also a worship leader. She was an avid crafter, loved birdwatching, and carried the magic of Christmas in her heart all year long.

In addition to many friends, Kathy will be missed greatly by her brother, Michael Hirlinger of Lancaster; her son, Christopher (Christine Eckert) Fair of Columbia; her daughter, Angela (Travis) Lyle of York; and three grandchildren, Tylor, Kaisie, and Kaya. She was also preceded in death by daughter, Leigh Baxter of Mount Joy.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Patterson Grove Campground in the spring.
