"OBITUARIES AND FUNERALS.
MRS. JESSIE A. McGUIRE.
Mrs. Jessie Alice McGuire [nee Curtis], 83, died at 10: 30 a. m. today at the Lutheran Home after an extended illness.
Mrs. McGuire formerly lived at 807 West Fourth street and moved to the Lutheran Homes about a year ago.
The daughter of Thomas and Harriet Jacobs Curtis, she was born April 5, 1881, at Letts. She married Bernard J. McGuire Feb. 9, 1910, at Wapello. She was of the Methodist faith.
Her husband died in 1940. Surviving are two sons, Clifford O. Vincent, Liscomb, and Thomas McGuire, Muscatine; three daughters, Mrs. Parker Walton, Mrs. Thomas Lewis and Mrs. Kenneth Rankins, all of Muscatine, eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Five brothers and one sister are dead.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p. m. Wednesday at the George M. Wittich funeral home. Burial will be in Greenwood cemetery."
