Funeral services were held In the Methodist church at Royal yesterday, for Mrs. Bertha Anderson, aged 90, who died at a hospital In Fergus Falls Minn. Saturday, October 1st. She had been living with her daughter, Mrs. Olive George at Walker, Minn. Mrs. Anderson was the mother of the late Olin Anderson and grandmother of Duane Anderson, of Peterson.
Mrs. Bertha Anderson, nee Frame, the daughter of Sardine and Margaret McWilllams Frame, was born January 2, 1870 in Ohio.
She passed into eternal rest in Fergus Falls, Minn., at the age of 90 years, 5 months, and 28 days.
As a child, she moved with her parents to Wood Co, West Virginia, and it was there that she attended the rural schools. She had resided in Clay Co, Iowa, near and to Royal, from 1897 until 1955, at which time she went to live with her daughter at Walker, Minn.
She was a member of the Methodist church at Lowdell W. Virginia , and a friend of the Methodist church of Royal, and had been a member of the Women's Society of Christian service there.
She was married to S. C Anderson on .July 1, 1891 at Wood Co. W Virginia. To them were born two children.
Mr. Anderson passed away October 9, 1951 and their son Olin on August 13 of 1959.
Survivors Include her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Bob George of Walker. Minn. her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Olin Anderson, one grandson Duane Anderson and wife Phyllis, and 3 greatgrandchildren, Oherly, Ricky and Jon Anderson, all of Peterson, five brothers George and Charles Frame of Parkersburg, W Va, Wiley of The Plaines, Ohio, Ira and Amos of New Brighton, Pa, as well as several nieces, nephews,
other relatives, and many friends.
