Mr. Ephraim Bouldin died at his residence in this place Monday, July 10, 1893, of dyspepsia, for which he had been a sufferer for several years. He was born near Decatur, Alabama August 10, 1828, and at his death was nearly 65 years of age. He removed with his family from Mississippi to this place in September 1892, and has made a warm friend of every acquaintance . Mr. Boldin was an elder in the Cumberland Church and was a strict Christian gentleman. He never allowed an opportunity to assist a friend to pass unimproved, and in every sphere in life, he proved himself a Christian and an honest man. The end of such a life is the beginning of an eternity of joy and happiness in the realms above. The funeral was conducted at the residence by Rev. J. C. Jones Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock; burial at Rose Hill Cemetery. Peace to his ashes.

Ephraim Bouldin was the son of Green Bouldin, (1767-1830) and Elizabeth Jiggets Driver, (-1829). He was born Aug 10, 1828 in Trinity, Morgan County, AL.

Ephraim served in the war as a Confederate Soldier. He enlisted in Company K, Mississippi Partisan Rangers (Ballentine's) 2nd Cavalry Regiment.

Ephraim was married four times:
