Funeral Services for
Marshall J Bouldin, Sr.
CLARKSDALE, September 4 - Funeral services were held today for Marshall J. Bouldin, Sr., 78, of Clarksdale. Mr. Bouldin was president of the Coahoma County Board of Supervisors, who died, at his home in Clarksdale after an illness of seven months.
Bouldin was dismissed from the Methodist Hospital in Memphis 10 days ago, returning to his home in Clarksdale.
Mr. Bouldin was one of the organizers of the Delta Grocery and Cotton Company at Clarksdale, of which he served as president for many years until his retirement a few years ago. Mr. Bouldin served as Mayor of Clarksdale. He was a former Circuit Court Clerk, Chancery Court Clerk and Sheriff of Coahoma County.
Born in DeSoto County and had resided in Clarksdale for 45 years. He was a Mason, Shriner, Rotarian, Elk and member of the Knights of Pythias Lodge in Clarksdale.
