Harold Rohler, 15, son of Mr and Mrs Harry Rohler, of Lafayette rural route 4, one-half mile east of Dayton, died Sunday evening at 8:30 o’clock at St Elisabeth hospital, where he was taken Sunday morning, suffering with Vincent’s disease. He had been ill for a week. Born in Dayton, December 7, 1917, he was the son of Harry and Harriett (Spring) Rohler. He was a freshman in Dayton high school, where he was active in school affairs and popular with the student body. Besides his parents he leaves two brothers, Merle and Robert Rohler, and four sisters, Pauline, Ellen, Fay, and Joy Rohler, all at home. The body was taken to the Baker funeral parlors in Dayton and will be taken to the family home Tuesday morning. Short private funeral services will be conducted Wednesday morning from the residence followed by a service at the Dayton Presbyterian church, of which he was a member a 10;30 o’clock. Rev H W Steen will officiate. Interment in the Dayton Cemetery.
