Jerry Lynn Mohler 76, Sidney, Neb., passed away on Tuesday (1/6/09). He was born in Lincoln, Neb. to Ewart and Stella (McCaig) Mohler. He grew up in Lincoln graduating from Northeast High School. After serving in Korea, he graduated from the University of Montana at Missoula with a degree in Forestry. He put his Forestry degree to work for the state of South Dakota in Spearfish. He then became an extension agent in Chadron, Neb. He was a Landscape Specialist and started his own Nursery and Sod Farm in Alliance and Chadron.
Survived by three sisters: twin JoAnn Tuin; Gwen Farmer and husband, Al, Lincoln; Barbara Maus, Omaha. There will be no memorial service at his request. Ashes will be placed in Elmwood, Neb. at a later date.
