Etta Maynard Dow
Mrs. Etta Maynard Dow, 75 years old, wife of Solon M. Dow, veteran supervisor of Hampshire township, died at her home in Hampshire last evening following an extended illness. She was born in Hampshire, the only daughter of the late Abraham Maynard, September 15, 1857, and had always made her home in this community.
Besides her husband Mrs. Dow is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Anna Overcash of Spalding and Mrs. Mabel Schneider, of Hampshire, and six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A daughter, Mary Dow Higgins, and five brothers preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon from the late home and at 2 o'clock from the Hampshire Methodist Church, the Rev. Mr. Ward officiating. Burial will be in Hampshire Center Cemetery.
