Patrick Roger Treacy, 80, of Palacios died at Wagner General Hospital September 2, 1980. He was a member of the First Baptist Church for 43 years and a Deacon for 38 years. Mr. Treacy was a former City Councilman of Palacios, former Navigation Commissioner of Palacios, Charter Member of Palacios Lions Club, he was former owner of the Green Lantern Restaurant, past manager Bay Chevrolet for 18 years, and resident. Manager for Taylor Brothers Funeral Home for 31 years. Survivors include: wife, Mrs. Lorene Treacy of Palacios; daughters, Bobbye Jean Cook of Ft. Stockton and Colleen McHaney of Channelville; sister, Lillian Treacy of Columbia, South Carolina; 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the First Baptist Church in Palacios, September 4 at 4:30 p.m. With Rev. Leon Maxwell officiating. Interment will follow at Palacios Cemetery. Pallbearers will include deacons of the First Baptist Church.
