Mary Elizabeth (Keeshon) was born in Cork, Ireland. Edward and Mary Elizabeth Treacy, came to the United States, from County Cork, Ireland. Soon after reaching America, their son Patrick Edward Treacy was born, in Richmond, Virginia. Then they moved to Cheraw, S. C., where they resided for the rest of their lives.

Patrick E. Treacy Dies at Cheraw

Cheraw, March 25 --Patrick Edward a Treacy, 80, died suddenly of a heart attack here this morning. He was born in Richmond, Va., the son of Edward and Mary Keshaw Treacy of Ireland, and had lived in Cheraw since childhood.
He married Miss Katherine Virginia Sunday, who died a number of years ago.
Mr. Treacy is survived by five daughters, Mrs. H. C. Anderson, Cheraw; Mrs. John A. Winburn, Patrick; Mrs. Frank H. Burn, Society Hill; Miss Lillian Treacy, Columbia; Mrs. Ernest Womack, Cheraw; two sons, John J. Treacy, Philadelphia; Roger Treacy, Palacios, Texas; 24 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 o'clock Monday morning at St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church in Cheraw of which he was a member and will be conducted by the a Rev. A. A. _lukunas of Sumter.

Patrick Edward Treacy was educated at Mr. Blaine's School in Cheraw as there were no public schools in Cheraw at the time. Mr. Blaine was an uncle of Miss Marie Lynch who died in 1930.
