MRS. JENNIE CATHERINE GUESSFORD, 77, of Redmen's Alley, widow of Elmer Guessford, died Wednesday at Williamsport Nursing Home after a long illness.

She was born in Dry Run, a daughter of David and Alice Jane Rubeck Hose. She attended Calvary Temple, Williamsport.

She is survived by daughters, Mrs. Helen High, Falling Waters, W. Va.; Mrs. Missouri Bragunier, Williamsport; Mrs. Mildred Rohrer and Mrs. Jane McClanathan, both of Hagerstown; Mrs. Hazel Swope, Smithsburg; sons, David E. Guessford Jr., Richard E. Guessford, and Joseph D. Guessford, all of Williamsport; a sister, Mrs. Edna Jackson, Williamsport; 30 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held on Saturday at 9:30 am at Leaf Funeral Home, Williamsport. The Rev. Vernon W. Miles will officiate; burial will be in St. Paul's Cemetery on Western Pike.
