Richard Michels, 63, formerly of Brownsville and Redgranite, died Saturday, Aug. 14, 2004, in Las Vegas.
He was born on Aug. 5, 1941, in Brownsville, a son of Oscar and Ruth DeVoy Michels.
Surviving are sisters and a brother, Patricia (Francis) Kehrmeyer of Fond du Lac, Joan Flor of Menomonee Falls, Janice (Robert) Maultra of Sussex, Janet (Rupert) Fischer of Germantown, Sister Mary Jeanne of Milwaukee and Francis (Annette) Michels of Lomira; two sisters-in-law, Jean Michels and Ruth Michels of Brownsville; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Oscar, Jr. "Jerry" and Dale.
• Services: Cremation has taken place. Family inurnment services will take place at a later date at St. Mary's Cemetery in Lomira.
