Retired Foster Wheeler Employe Succumbs to Illness at 70
A funeral service for a former Dansville resident, Cyrus B. Welton, 70, of Mt. Morris, was conducted in the Chamberlin Funeral Home, Saturday.
Mr. Welton, who died unexpectedly Thursday (Mar. 26, 1964), was born in Middlebury and lived here for many years before moving to Mt. Morris a year ago. He was a retired Foster Wheeler Corp. employe.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Florence Welton; 10 daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Foster of Perry, Mrs. Bernice Burgett of Mt. Morris, Mrs. Eugenia Blossom of Rochester, Mrs. Inez Johnson of Erie, Pa., Mrs. Evelyn Foster of Dans-ville, Mrs. Leona Dunham of Sayre, Pa., Mrs. Edna Hinds of New Mexico, Mrs. Esther Hinds of Rochester, Mrs. Thelma Stauffer of Henrietta, Mrs. Marjorie Daly of Dansville; three sons, Robert of Erie, Pa., and Francis and Groton of Rochester, 47 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The Rev. Robert McKee officiated. Burial was in Greenmount Cemetery. (DB, March 31, 1964, p1)
