Helen Fletcher, 83, lifetime Sunnyside resident, went to be in the arms of her Savior on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 from her home and surrounded by her family. Helen was born on September 23, 1928 in Sunnyside, WA the daughter of George J. and Elsie R. (Maling) Kaiser.

On July 4, 1955 she married Bobby Joe Fletcher in Prosser, WA. Helen and Bob resided and worked in Sunnyside, where she was the Business Office Supervisor at United Telephone Company for many years. She enjoyed oil painting, going to the beach and traveling throughout the United States. Helen loved going to the casino but would never go on "Senior Day". Each morning by 7:00 a.m. Helen would make her way to Burger King. To save a special table for friends, enjoy a cup of coffee and a little chit chat.

Helen was a past member of the Prosser, Sunnyside and Grandview Credit Women Association, Pro-Re-Nata Hospital Guild and Beta Sigma Phi Sorority.

She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Elsie, husband, Bob Fletcher and sister Irene M. Berk; Helen is survived by two brothers, Victor G. Kaiser (Phyllis) of Outlook, WA, Johnny L. Kaiser (Dolores) of Sunnyside, WA, several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service with time of fellowship with family and friends to follow will be held on at the Sunnyside Presbyterian Church,Sunnyside, WA.
