They were married 20 Ninth Month 1843 at Newberry Meeting House, Clinton County, Ohio. They lived most of their lives in Plainfield, Indiana, but in later years they moved to Kokomo, Indiana, where Elizabeth Wasson died 22 Sixth Month 1879. In 1880 Asa Hockett and his son, Albert, were in Richmond, Indiana, working as drain tile manufacturers. Asa Hockett returned to Kokomo, where he married Celia A. Arnold. Asa Hockett died in Kokomo in 1903."
