Lucille L. Calvert, 70, of Brave, PA died Monday, October 19, 2009 in Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.

She was born February 2, 1939 at Mannington, WV, a daughter of the late Ray Lemley and Mae Simpson Lemley.

Mrs. Calvert was a homemaker and a methodist by faith.

Surviving are her husband, Charles W. Calvert; one son & daughter-in-law, Richard Ryan Calvert and his wife Judy of Spraggs,PA; one daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda McDaniel and her husband Dale of Berkeley Springs, WV; two brothers, Kyle Lemley and Denzil Lemley, both of Daybrook; two sisters, Bertie Merrifield of South Africa and Pauline Gee of Bloomdale, Ohio; and six grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Ellen Wharton; and two brothers, Delbert Lemley and a brother who died as an infant, Arzie Lemley.

Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville from 2-4 & 7-9 PM Wednesday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Thursday with the Pastor Fred Tomlinson officiating. Interment will follow in the Blacksville Cemetery.
