Ray Lemley, 67 of Fairview died Saturday morning at the University Hosptial. He was born April 1, 1909 in Monongalia County, a son of the late David F. and Mary Watson Lemley. He was a member of the Daybrook Wesleyan Methodist Church. He is a former employee of the Seneca Glass Company. He is survived by his wife, Mae Simpson Lemley, four daughters, Mrs. Charles(Lucille) Calvert of Spraggs, Pa, Mrs. Thomas (Mary) Wharton of Clarksburg, Mrs. Dwight (Pauline) Gee of Bloom dale, Ohio, two sons Denzil Ray Lemley of Morgantown and Kyle Lemley of Daybrook, one brother, Asa Lemley of Blacksville, five sisters, Mrs. Artie Sigman of Worthington, Mrs. Margaret MacDonald of Pentress and Mrs. Georgia Schultz. (Lost part torn off on side. )

Friends will be received at the Curry Funeral home in Fairview after 6 P.M. Sunday. The body will be taken to the Wesleyan Methodist Church at Daybrook where it will lie in state from 1-2 P.M. Tuesday, the time of Services, with the Rev. William Cope officiating. Burial will be in the Blacksville Cemetery. (clipping Sylvia Sine Whittaker)
