MRS. ROSEY CRAWFORD LINEVILLE - Mrs. Rosey Yancey Crawford, 80, of Lineville, Rt. 2, died Wednesday at her residence after a short illness. Funeral services were scheduled today at 2 p.m. at Abel Baptist Church with the Rev. Jack Taylor officiating. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery with Blair Brown-Service Funeral Home in charge. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. A. P. Jenkins and Mrs. Ann Donahue, both of Riverside, Ill., and Mrs. Grady Mulkey of Lineville; five sons, M. A. Crawford of Lineville, Clarence Crawford of Manchester, Ga., Leon Crawford of Madison, Tenn., Dixon Crawford of Nashville, Tenn., and Roy Crawford of Bessemer; three sisters, Mrs. Fannie Jones of Anniston, Mrs. Elsie Posey of Bessemer, and Mrs. Dovie Whitt of Texas ; four brothers, Floyd Yancey and Marvin Yancey, both of Lineville, Bud Yancey of Guntersville, and J. Yancey of Oneonta; 22 grandchildren and a number of greatgrandchildren and great-greatgrandchildren.

The Yancy on her monument is spelled "YANCEY".
Her sister Annie Allen's maiden name is spelled "YANCY" on her monument located in the same cemetery. Their brother, Mark Edward Yancy is also buried at Abel Cemetery.
Their older brother, John Wesley, spelled his last name "YANCY'. He is buried at Tidwell Cemetery in Blount County, Alabama.

Her parents State of Alabama death certificates spelled the last names as "YANCY". Although monuments for John Floyd's parents the Yancy is spelled "YANCEY".

Different surname spelling, same family.
