"The LaFayette Sun" - February 20, 1901:

Mrs. Martha Millford, of the Lebanon settlement, died Monday night and was buried yesterday afternoon by Rev. W. T. Hollingsworth, at Lebanon. Deceased left a number of sons and many friends to mourn her loss. The Sun extends sympathy.

February 27, 1901:

On last Monday night, the 18th, shortly after the hour of midnight, there passed from life to eternity the spirit of Mrs. Martha Milford. She was one of the oldest and most highly esteemed Christian ladies; having passed the mark of four score. She was a consistent member of the Lebanon Presbyterian Church. Submissive at all times to her Master’s will and striving to win the crown of life which is promised to the faithful and just. She leaves three sons, and two daughters and a host of friends to mourn her death. Rev. W. T. Hollingsworth conducted the services. The body was laid to rest at Lebanon.
