CURWENSVILLE - Alfred Smeal, 57, of Curwensville RD, Pike Township, died at the Clearfield Hospital Sunday, October 12, at 4:10 a.m.
A son of George Smeal and Alda Courtney, he was born April 27, 1880 in Pike Township, Clearfield County.
Surviving him is his widoe, Edith and one daughter, Mary Edith, at home. The following brothers and sisters also survive: Walter and Mrs. Harry Witherow, both of Clearfield; John, Pike Township, Clair, Akron, Ohio, Mrs. Estella Cummingham, Mifflintown, Pa.
Funeral services will be held from his late home Wednesday, October 15, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Rollin H. Taylot officiating. Interment will be in Crown Crest Memorial Park, at Hyde.
Friends may call at his late home until time of services Wednesday.
