Married George D. Alexander on March 24, 1853 in Morgan county, IL.

Her husband and his brother, John T. Alexander were well-known in the cattle and stock industry.

Survived by two daughters, Janet and Margaret Alexander, who lived with her.

Preceded in death by her husband, George; and a son, James Alexander.
